These designs for Das Rheingold form part of a complete concept I designed in honour of the centennary of Richard Wagner's birth in 2013. The aim of the project was to offer a traditional view of the musicdrama with the view to possible future animation. It remains a work in progress to this day. First performed by Pacific Northwest Opera, 2019.
